Air2G2 336 Operating Instructions
Operating the Air2G2
The machine features easy swing out arms, eliminating the need for pins to lock out the beam to the outstretched position.
A locking device on each side holds the beam in place.
When your Air2G2 is delivered, it comes equipped with a lockout device. A simple key allows you as a supervisor, to lock out staff and secure the machine during maintenance practices.
Once both arms are opened, you can easily gather the desired probe size and wrench from the toolbox at the front of the machine, so you don’t need to return to the shop for tools.
Switching out probes is also a breeze with the Air2G2. The machine comes with three different sized probes. Use the wrench to unlock the assembly, screw in the desired probe, and then secure it by screwing the arm back onto the beam.
The Air2G2 is designed for convenience, with an easily removable hood and a removable fuel cell to prevent spills on the ground surface when refueling.
Operating the Air2G2 is customizable and straightforward. Uncover the screen to view the display, then turn the key to boot up the machine. Click the down button to open the main screen, and the Air2G2 is ready to run.
The default setting is a standard program with two air injections and timed intervals. Light, standard, and heavy options all operate with a walking distance of 36 inches. You can customize all settings, including injection count, time, intervals, and distance.
The home screen displays the number of injections and the elapsed time.
There are three gauges on the Air2G2’s consol: one for overall system pressure, one for probe pressure, which is the vertical force of probes entering the ground based on soil pressure, and one for the inject pressure, which is the lateral air pressure injected after the probes are in the ground.
To adjust both the probe and inject pressure gauges, rotate the valves on the console.
Move the throttle lever up or down to increase or decrease the speed of the machine.
For added safety, the machine is equipped with an emergency stop button. Pressing this button will immediately stop the machine.
Operating the Air2G2 is easy and intuitive. Before moving, the machine displays three red arrows, indicating an injection is required. Simply click the triggers on the handle and wait for the green arrow to appear before moving forward. To move the Air2G2, push the handle arms forward. The machine will automatically stop after 36 inches and display the red arrows for the next injection. If you need to maneuver the machine, click the top brake button, which pauses the auto-stop function.
